Septic pumping
Residential and commercial tanks, pumped clean and hauled off. Typical job takes under an hour once we've got the lid open.
The part where you stand in the yard supervising is optional but traditional.
Lisbon, New York · Family-run since 1976
Septic pumping and portable toilets across St. Lawrence County. Nobody has ever called us because they were having a great day. We show up anyway.
Tank status
Yours, probably
Most tanks need pumping every 3–5 years. Most people wait longer. Then they call us on a Saturday.
What we do
We're not a franchise and we don't have a call center. You get a truck, a hose, and somebody who's been doing this since bell bottoms were new.
Residential and commercial tanks, pumped clean and hauled off. Typical job takes under an hour once we've got the lid open.
The part where you stand in the yard supervising is optional but traditional.
Graduation parties, weddings, job sites, fairs, hunting camps. Delivered clean, serviced on schedule, picked up without comment.
Ask about the unit with the handwash station. It costs a little more and everyone notices.
Backing up into the house isn't a Tuesday problem. If we can get there today, we will — call and ask.
Do not keep flushing to see if it resolves itself. It does not resolve itself.
Pre-sale inspections for real estate closings, plus tank locating when the previous owner left no clues whatsoever.
We've found tanks under decks, sheds, and one very confused flower bed.
Warning signs
It is not subtle about it. Here's what to watch for, ranked roughly by how much time you have left to think it over.
Any two of these: call this week.
Four or more: call today.
Number six: stop reading and call now.
How it works
No app, no portal, no confirmation email with a tracking link. A phone rings and then a truck shows up.
A person answers. Tell us the address, roughly how long it's been, and whether anything is actively going wrong right now.
If you know where the lid is, great, point at it. If you don't, that's normal — locating it is part of the job.
Tank gets emptied down to the bottom, not just skimmed off the top. The waste is hauled and disposed of properly.
Baffle condition, sludge level, anything that looks like it's heading toward trouble. Straight answer, no upsell.
For three to five years, which is exactly how it should be. We'll be here when it's time again.
Questions we get
Every three to five years for most households. A big family in a small tank is closer to three. Two people in a 1,500-gallon tank can stretch it. If you can't remember the last time, it's been too long.
Depends on tank size, how easy it is to get the truck close, and how long it's been. Call and describe the setup and we'll give you a real number, not a range designed to sound low.
Not required. If it's already exposed you'll save a little time, but finding and opening the tank is part of what we do. Don't rent an excavator on our account.
No. They are not. We would like this on a billboard.
Not as a substitute for pumping. Solids still accumulate, and no bottle from the hardware store is going to haul them away. Save the money toward the pump-out.
For a graduation party or a June wedding, as early as you can — those weekends fill up fast around here. Job sites are usually easier to fit in on short notice.
